Privacy Notice: Port Pro early access
Who we are. Port Pro early access is operated by Alex Mancini (sole operator), based in France. Contact: contact@portpro.eu.
What we collect. First name, surname, email address, the role you select (boat owner or marine professional), and your location. If you accept marketing cookies, the Meta pixel also collects device and browsing data (see “Cookies and tracking” below).
Why, and our legal basis. We use your sign-up details to keep you informed about Port Pro's early access and launch, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We don't sell your data.
Cookies and tracking. We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site (security/anti-fraud, your language, and your sign-in session); these need no consent. With your separate, opt-in consent we also load the Meta (Facebook) pixel, a marketing tracker operated by Meta Platforms Ireland. When enabled, it shares data with Meta, including your IP address, a pixel/browser identifier, the pages you view and actions such as completing the sign-up form, in order to measure and target our advertising, and may transfer that data outside the EU/EEA. Nothing non-essential loads until you choose. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer; withdrawing stops the pixel loading on subsequent pages, though data already sent to Meta cannot be recalled.
Who processes your data. Your data is handled by the service providers below, who act as our processors (or, for advertising, as a separate recipient) and only receive what each function needs:
- Supabase: Database and authentication hosting (EU region), where your sign-up is stored.
- Vercel: Website hosting and cookieless, aggregated visitor analytics.
- Resend: Sending the confirmation and launch emails you asked for.
- Cloudflare: Turnstile anti-bot / anti-fraud check on the sign-up form.
- Upstash: Server-side rate limiting to protect the sign-up form from abuse.
- Meta Platforms Ireland: Advertising measurement via the Meta (Facebook) pixel, but only if you accept marketing cookies. This involves a transfer of data to Meta, including outside the EU/EEA.
How long we keep it. Until launch and for up to 24 months after, or until you withdraw consent / unsubscribe, whichever comes first.
Your rights. You can access, correct, or delete your data, or withdraw consent at any time, by emailing contact@portpro.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
